Fabrizi-Laskou!
This project was a joy to work on. I was commissioned by an Italian/Greek couple to design and print a bespoke board game for their wedding, based on their lives in London and their new adventure as a married couple. I came up with the concept of a dash all over London visiting places near and dear to them: where they met, their workplaces, their homes and the homes of their friends. I play-tested rigorously, tweaking the rules to balance the gameplay and maximise the fun. Then I meticulously designed the board, pieces, cards, rule booklet and boxes, including English, Italian and Greek text. I used a board game printing service called The Game Crafter to print and ship the finished game, and the quality of the item lived up to my hopes. The couple were ecstatic with the finished product, and this remains one of my fondest design projects in terms of both UX and graphic design.
